THE MORTGAGE CODE

Andrew Forsey Financial Services complies with the Mortgage Code. The role of the Mortgage Code Compliance Board (Mortgage Board) is to ensure that you are fully informed and adequately protected when taking out a mortgage.

The Mortgage Code ensures that all of the lenders and intermediaries registered with them adhere to the standards set out in the Mortgage Code.

A comprehensive programme of compliance inspection and compliance liaison visits are conducted each year. Additionally, 'mystery shopping' and other consumer research exercises are conducted to ensure that consumers are receiving the full benefits of the Code's protection.

When problems arise, they conduct detailed investigations and, through an independent disciplinary process, when severe Code breaches are proven, they have the power to direct firms as regards their future conduct and can fine, suspend, or de-register firms.
